The "we" she refers is the graduating class in nursing school. Gex, 89 and now a resident of the island of Elba was born and raised outside of Detroit. After high school in 1939, she attended the Grace Hospital School of Nursing. In 1944, she joined the Army Nurse Corps.
"When we won (the nursing school), more than half of our class entered service, she said. "We decided that we would all go together.We thought we were going in a unit, but of course we do not. "
In March 1945, Gex was stationed at Vaughn General Hospital in Chicago, and in April she was sent to Fort Riley, Kansas, where he was determined to be posted where. Later this month, the unit sailed from San Francisco Gex Philippines. They arrived in Manila May 17, 1945.

Chanel No. 5 was ahead of its time as a composition. It was impactful, long lasting, unique and libertarian in its essence.
